The iQ-Check system takes full advantage of real-time
PCR to provide a faster reliable solution in food pathogen
testing. A complete range of kits are available for
qualitative detection of major food pathogens in all
food and environmental samples. Due to the high sensitivity
and specificity of real-time PCR, a single overnight
enrichment is sufficient to obtain results equivalent
to or better than ISO or other reference methods. |

iQ-Check的原理 |

Genes targeted are specific: for example, the gene
involved in the invasive bacterial process (iagA) for
detecting Salmonella spp. and the gene involved in the
listeriolysine virulence process (hlyA) for detecting
Listeria monocytogenes. Detection of the fluorescent
signal of these amplified sequences is an indication
of the presence of the pathogen in the sample being
tested. In a multiplex assay, each PCR well has an internal
control DNA, which is amplified at the same time as
the target DNA, but detected by a different probe and
fluorophore. |

Maximum Flexibility |

Developed as a flexible, open system, the iQ-Check
kits can be used with different Bio-Rad real-time PCR
instruments. A single sample or as many as 94 samples
can be run on either smaller instruments or higher throughput
instruments, all to fit a laboratory's needs and throughput.
Both a 96 and 48-well instrument are available, with
the ability to run up to 4 instruments from a single
computer at the same time. |
